Neil Warburton
Statement:
My work has grown from the inspirations of my childhood and beyond.
Following the desire to create for a living at an early age, I studied
design and gained the necessary skills to gain a job in industry.
I now hold a creative position at bd2, a well established design
agency in Wigan UK.
Despite the madness of designing for various companies and meeting
the deadlines of the 9-5, I spend a great deal of my time working
on a number of projects and artwork that I have showcased here on
iamunknown.com, through exhibitions
with Ok Studios, a group of artists based in Wigan and through various
projects with people including Vinyl Abuse and Peskimo.
I enjoy the freedom of experimentation and I have a need to create.
There is always a new idea to explore scribbled in a sketchbook,
there's just so little time to do it. I try not to get stuck using
one medium and enjoy using both new technologies and old traditional
methods to create something new.
I am currently working on a number of 3D artworks and experimenting
with printing techniques.
